The fact that Microsoft hasn't written a driver for it yet is incredibly annoying, especially when working with multiple Hyper-V VM's. We would however like to benefit from the supported resolutions of the video cards in order toĬonfigure the servers.
Some of these servers simply don't have the space (or need) for a "modern" graphics adapter since we only use the onboard video for administration tasks. I disagree with all "answers." You folks answering do realize that this chip or the Matrox G200 (also released in 1998) is the graphics adapter for most MODERN enterprise servers, right? These were some of the best 2D video cards produced andĪs such are still applicable today, hence their continued use.
